The Facilities Director will direct, organize, and execute the County’s property management and maintenance operations, develop long-range plans for the maintenance and repair of all County physical facilities and properties. The County is looking for an ideal candidate who will have extensive knowledge of the major maintenance and property management functions for a large local government entity and extensive judgment, discretion, and technical knowledge for advising the Board of County Commissioners, County Manager, and departments on all facilities matters. The ideal candidate will be a professional Engineer (PE) and have association with, and knowledge of, public parks maintenance and operations.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Real Estate, Construction Management or related area and 5 years of experience in engineering, construction trades, contract management or real estate sales/brokering including property management, of which three years of supervisory experience is required
