The National GARAGEDECK Project Manager will provide project management support during all phases of GARAGEDECK projects nationwide and help facilitate long term improvements in the procurement and management of GARAGEDECK projects.
*This position can work out of our Chicago, IL or Groveland, FL office.
Perform duties in compliance with overall company goals, processes & procedures
Work together with all departments to provide excellent customer experience
Work with GARAGEDECK Segment Manager on process improvements, PT Garage understanding, Customer/Sales relationship
Pre-Bid / Bid support
Assist local sales engineer and customer to understand project needs and develop optimal project solutions
Develop pricing tools and improvements to pricing templates
Develop and maintain project pipeline and material forecast
Support Sales Engineer and GARAGEDECK Segment manager during all phases of the project
Prepare resource pipeline for all aspects of project: Engineering, Assembly, Material, and Site Supervision
Coordinate all internal communication between all departments to ensure project schedule is achieved
Work closely with engineering team on all aspects of design and material requirements.
Coordinate and support site supervisors during initial project set-up
Troubleshoot any problems with site supervisor and engineering team and coordinate fixes
Assist local sales engineer with returns and project closeouts
Large / Complex Project Procedures
Work with all departments to maintain schedule, identify problems, and develop long-term solutions, processes and procedures to ensure continued improvement in our ability to successfully manage large / complex GARAGEDECK projects.
Additional duties as assigned by direct supervisor
Bachelor's in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
2+ years engineering experience in formwork/scaffolding sector
Proven success in the management of construction projects, demonstrating outstanding customer service and material management
Working knowledge of most PERI systems & knowledge of PERI shoring systems, preferred
Practical jobsite experience in the use of formwork and scaffolding
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team and individually
Strong character and professional ethics, open and trustworthy
Self-starter, driven by challenge and achieving results
