Mid-level civil design engineer position available in BergerABAM's headquarters office in Federal Way, WA, for a qualified individual who will participate in project teams to prepare site development projects with emphasis on waterfront facilities. This position requires experience in site grading (using Civil 3D), drainage, and utility design, including modeling for water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater systems. Familiarity with Department of Ecology and LID requirements, and related hydrology software such as WWHM and conveyance programs such as StormShed, are essential. Knowledge of geometric roadway design and pavement design is also desirable. The experienced engineer will be responsible for meeting project schedules and budgets; preparing drawings, specifications, cost estimates, technical studies and reports; and supervising the assignments of junior engineers and technicians.
