Position Summary: Reporting to the Vice President of Area Planning and Development, the Senior Transportation Planner will assist in the planning and implementation of a variety of initiatives in transportation planning and travel demand management program implementation. Qualifications: The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, mission- and values-driven planner with a comfort level working with people; a strategist and tactician committed to customer service, who has enthusiasm, a strong operational focus, and ability to manage complex, sophisticated projects leveraging strong analytical and communications skills. Other requirements: Bachelor’s degree in transportation planning or related field, master’s preferred; eight years’ experience in transportation planning/engineering; proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD; knowledge of city and state transportation project development, planning, and funding processes; excellent analytical, presentation, verbal and written communication skills; and ‘can-do’ attitude with a flexible work style.
