Successful candidates shall be certified Engineer Interns or licensed Professional Engineers having a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, and a minimum of 4+ years of experience with hydraulics and hydrology studies, drainage, roadway, and utility design, construction administration, and other public-works projects. Also, a minimum of 2 years’ experience with roadway design, preferably with City of Mobile, Mobile County, Baldwin County, and/or ALDOT projects. Working knowledge of ALDOT specifications and/or Microstation and/or AutoCAD is also required for this position. Excellent working knowledge of InRoads and/or OpenRoads is preferred for this position. Preferred candidates should have experience in preparing plans and specifications for construction projects and must possess excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills.
