Central San, a progressive public utility, is seeking a Community Affairs Representative. In conjunction with a team, and at times individually, duties will include developing, organizing, and coordinating District external outreach activities, including participating in the strategic planning; development, implementation, and coordination of government, community, stakeholder, business, media, customer, and public outreach activities; and development of internal communications.

Education and Experience:
Four years of increasingly responsible experience performing public relations and/or community outreach functions in public or private organizations.
Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major work in public relations, journalism, English, communications, or closely related field.
Licenses and Certificates:
Possession of a valid California Driver’s License. A valid out of state driver’s license will be accepted during the application process. Must possess a valid California Driver’s License within 90 days of appointment.
