Working in direct support of the Practice Leader, this temporary, entry-level position is designed to expose the student to a broad range of science and engineering practices and skills, providing a well-rounded learning experience. DUTIES Responsibilities Include: - Assist Staff, Project, and Senior personnel with diverse tasks as assigned
- Apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to complete routine engineering and/or design assignments
- May rotate throughout Triad's various disciplines as needed to support workload and/or enhance learning
- Responsibilities may include assisting in field, laboratory and/or office work, CADD design, research, data entry, filing and/or general labor
- Complete and submit all required documentation and reports in a legible and timely manner
- Notify supervisor immediately of problems and/or deviations from assignments, plans and/or specifications
- May interact with clients and will be expected to do so in a professional and customer-friendly manner
- Strive to make each project profitable by completing each task efficiently and timely
QUALIFICATIONS Education - High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline
Experience - No formal experience is required
- Exposure to engineer-related activities is highly preferred
- Involvement in related professional organizations preferred
Additional Requirements: - Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Must possess the ability to read, write and perform basic math
- Must possess strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills
- Must possess intermediate computer skills (MS Office), including the ability to learn various types of company / client software
- Must be available to work in all types of indoor and outdoor environments
