Manage and promote our service capabilities to the industrial market.
Assist in achieving the annual budgeted sales targets and overall company business plan requirements.
Conduct sales visits to industrial facilities, corporate headquarters and specifying engineers including Engineering Consultancies.
Develop and present products and associated services to client’s utilizing all available media including PowerPoint presentations.
Obtain purchase orders as the result of successful negotiations.
Responsible for meeting/exceeding agreed upon sales order targets.
Assist, as necessary, with the submittal approval process.
Maintain current, complete and accurate records within CRM database.
Attend conferences, seminars and manage the company booth when exhibiting.
Help develop sales tools needed to promote the products in various industries.
Assist in the development and implementation of company sales and marketing strategy.
Provide product sales literature, binders and technical papers to prospective clients.
Follow-up marketing and sales inquiries.
Assist with site evaluations and creating opportunities for pilot/demonstration projects and data collection.
Assess acceptability of the various products the company provides based on market needs and develop opportunities in viable markets.
Gain access to key facility personnel and decision makers.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience in engineered products industry.
Minimum of 3 years sales experience.
Exceptional relationship building skills; ability to build and maintain profitable, mutually beneficial business partnerships and relationships.
Experience in related industry with proven track record of selling, ideally to the industrial or water markets.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
Ability to be self-motivated but work as part of a small, focused team.
Technical aptitude; ability to read plans and specs, conduct site visits and determine applicability/implementation of products.
A proven closer and star performer.
Domestic travel 50%-70%.
International travel occasionally.
Valid Driver’s License
US citizenship or ability to work in the US.
Telecommuting is allowed.
