This career opportunity is for a full time, Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Boulder, CO.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage electrical project teams and attend project meetings
Perform NEC demand/load calculations, short circuit calculations, lighting calculations (AGI software knowledge desired), and voltage drop calculations
Generate one-line diagrams and electrical details
Perform complete power design for building electrical systems and outdoor public spaces including code research, equipment power connections, panel board circuit layout and loading, and controls
Write and edit project construction specifications
Review shop drawings, equipment submittals, perform site observations, and punch lists
Coordinate on site with electrical contractor
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED
Bachelor of Science in Architectural or Electrical Engineering or other related engineering degree
Minimum of 5-years experience engineering electrical systems for buildings
Ability to contribute to several projects simultaneously
Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred
Creative thinking and problem solving
Good communication skills - written and verbal
Strong background in AutoCAD, Revit, ComCheck, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Willing and able to self-learn new software
