Job Summary: This is advanced, independent engineering work reviewing more complex permit applications, issuing SSL authorizations, and conducting compliance activities; or performing engineering analysis of projects. The incumbent in this position may also testify as an expert witness. Job duties include: Reviews the engineering portion of the larger and/or more complex Environmental Resource Permits (ERPs) and Sovereign Submerged Lands (SSL). Provides assistance as needed in the review of Consumptive Use Permits (CUPs).
