Page Utility Enterprises (PUE) - City of Page, AZ, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Journeyman Lineman. This position is responsible for the construction & maintenance of OH & UG distribution lines. Successful candidate will have knowledge in working with energized equipment to 25 kV & maintaining 69 kV lines.
Requirements include, a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a four-year certified apprenticeship program, & proof of certification. Advanced training is desirable. Candidate must demonstrate skill in pole & tower climbing, splicing wires, using hotline tools & working in aerial devices. Ability to interpret electrical plans & prints, to stand, use both hands, arms & legs, stoop & bend, & lift up to 100 pounds. A valid AZ Class A CDL is required. This position requires the ability to be on-call on a rotating basis, to work various hours, weekends, evenings. The candidate will be required to live within a 15-minute response radius of the principle place of work and respond to call-out on a 24-hour basis. Must maintain effective working relationships with other employees, customers and the public. The position requires a highly motivated individual with the ability to work productively in a team atmosphere.
