Postdoctoral Researcher - Legume Metabolism and Transport Processes
A four-year postdoctoral position is available in the School of Biological Sciences at Washington State University-Pullman in the laboratory of Dr. Mechthild Tegeder (https://sbs.wsu.edu/mechthild-tegeder/#), and in collaboration with Dr. Hanjo Hellmann (https://sbs.wsu.edu/hanjo-a-hellmann/#). The position starts on September 1st, 2024, or as soon as a qualified candidate has been identified. The successful candidate will be involved in an exciting legume project aimed at understanding the physiology, biochemistry, and molecular biology of sulfur use efficiency with respect to biological nitrogen fixation in nodules as well as seed yield and nutritional quality. The candidate is expected to conduct research on sulfur transport processes and primary metabolism in legum
