Nature of Work: The City Engineer plans, directs, and evaluates all activities of the City's engineering program. Supervises the divisional team. Oversees the coordination, preparation, and execution, and completion of short- and long-range capital improvement plans, programs, budgets for streets. Water, wastewater, and storm water distribution, collection, and storage systems; and assigned facilities. Oversees the Engineering Division review of residential subdivision and commercial project plans and construction drawings during the subdivision platting and/or building permit review processes to ensure compliance with local, state, federal rules, standards, codes, and laws
