Our researches focus on biological nitrogen fixation and legume biology in The State Key Laboratory of Crop Stress Adaptation and Improvement, Henan University.  We use soybean, peanut, Lotus japonicus, Arabidopsis and rhizobia as the main research systems, and approaches of multi-omics, genetics, biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, developmental biology, bioinformatics, and structural biology, to study the mechanisms of legume-rhizobium interactions and symbiotic nitrogen fixation, their response to environmental stimuli and various hormones (brassinosteroids, strigolactones, abscisic acid, and auxin), and their applications in green agriculture.
