Position Summary Under the general direction of the Deputy General Manager-Bus, the Senior Director of Transit Operations is responsible for the daily operational aspects of the Golden Gate Transit (GGT) system. This senior level management position oversees the Transit Training and Safety, Transportation (includes the Operations Control Center and Field Operations), and Fleet and Facilities Departments and is responsible for leading a team of approximately 400 individuals, most of whom are represented employees.
