Engineering and Research Technologist
Design, develop, evaluate and maintain hydrologic/agricultural monitoring systems (e.g. water quality auto samplers, data loggers, water level recorders, soil moisture measurement devices, datalogger programming, wireless communications) with focus on hydrology and water quality in agriculture, urban or natural systems. Design and implementation of QA/QC protocols of the monitoring data acquired from the systems described. Coordination of data collection and field activities. Supervision of field assistants/technicians and other hydrology and water quality data Data analysis, including geospatial analyses and report writing for water resources and associated multi-disciplinary agricultural and biological engineering projects and development of automation tools
